The Dragon River

Oh Dragon River,
Oh Dragon River,
How you meander.
As blue as the sky,
You sparkle and flow,
Pristine and with a magical glow.

Oh Dragon River,
How vast yet thin you are,
With tube like openings,
You have only one beginning.
You are surrounded by mountains and hills,
And the sun that shines upon you.
Yet how many visitors did you have,
You look so lonely,
Inside you have fish,
and sometimes you are troubled by downpour.

Oh Dragon River,
How you show strength,
I will never know.
One day we will meet,
and I know you will surely greet.
