Scrolling through the newsfeed on Facebook is an activity I would do multiple times a day. But no more will I be attached to that site. That’s right, I’ve stopped checking my Facebook. Moreover, the same goes for Twitter and LinkedIn. The reason? Wasting time.

I cannot tell you how glad I am. The freedom to control your life instead of having things control you is powerful. We have our lives to cherish – don’t let social media control you. I’ve been meaning to do this a long time ago but I couldn’t find myself taking action until today. Today is the beginning of freedom. If you are feeling addicted to social media or want to move away from it in general, take that challenge.

Remember, you are in charge of your life. You have the power to show others you care about them and not your phone. Don’t glue yourself to a screen. Finally, you’ll feel weird at first, but that is fine. As days go by, you’ll notice the difference.

What are you waiting for? Avoid the social disaster if you feel uneasy, anxious or even a bit depressed. Feel the power inside of you. Your life will change.
